Petite Anse, Baie Lazare

4.6
#3 of 15 in Beaches in Mahe Island
Petite Anse represents a small bay with a golden sand beach. Because of substantial rock formations on both sides of the beach, the site is a draw for snorkeling. Lush vegetation along the back of the beach with palm trees provides necessary shade. Many visitors come to swim and sunbathe under granite boulders. While it can be a bit difficult to access, the beach offers a secluded tropical site. Make Petite Anse a part of your Baie Lazare vacation plans using our Baie Lazare road trip planner .

  • A beautiful beach with a nice sea. Swimming is easy. No particular danger. Unfortunately, the passivity of the Four Seasons staff who do not clean it. Dead corals that annoy people, worse bits of glass bottles that you are asked to "throw in the trash". Basically, it's up to the customers to do the housework.
