Masjid Quba, Medina

With its shining white minarets, Masjid Quba claims the title of the oldest mosque in the world. Built by the Prophet Muhammad following his escape from Mecca during the first year of the Hijri calendar, the mosque occupies a special place in the heart of Muslim devotees.   • It is one of the most important mosque in the Islamic history. This actually was the first mosque built by the Muslim. It has a great significance for muslims around.
  • Lovely place, so peaceful and agreeable. Clean and well taken care of. Parking isn’t that easy to find at peak times so come in mornings or in between prayers. Nice little market next to it.
