  • We visited only the Vilyuchinsky Pass. And this is also very impressive! The pass is landscaped for tourists. There is information about plants, the volcano itself.

  • Very beautiful volcano. It is also considered one of the home volcanoes along with Avachinsky, Koryaksky and Kozelsky. Its height is 2173 m. Climbing this volcano is not easy. It is much more difficult on a relief, than Avachinsky, or burnt. And the most difficult part of the route is after the so-called "gate". They are raised there and in winter with equipment both in spring and summer. But the warmer the weather, the more dangerous the rise, because when melting snow from the top begin to pour stones. Without physical preparation and knowing this route of the person-ascent can be dangerous. From the top there is a picturesque view towards the eponymous town of Villuchinska, the Bay of Fat, Villuchinskaya, Malaya and great Saransk. The volcano Mutnovskiy, burnt, opal and of course Koryaksky, Avachinsky and Kozelsky are visible.

  • Climbed the volcano on May 20, 2018. We reached the foot of the TLC hunter. From the turn on the Mutnovskaya track to the foot drove about two hours. From equipment: Trekking sticks, reliable footwear, ice-axe, cats, warm and unpurged clothes. The ascent amounted to about 6 hours.
