  • I go to this place since I was a kid and everyday it gets more beautiful. It makes me feel really close to the nature; there are some places in the garden where you can sit and hear the birds; it's all green and a lot of pretty colorful flowers (I didn't post photos of them - you have to discover them by yourself); the only inconvenience is that most of the weekends in the summer are populated with brides and photo sessions, so if you want to spend some chill time in here, the best period is from Monday to Thursday, perhaps. Also it's a good place for running, for learning the children various types of plants and flowers; the garden has sits for relaxing, but no picnic is allowed in there. Great place to spend the time, even just for walking.
  • Very nice and peaceful place, we had a good rest there. There are lot of different plants, trees and flowers. Entrance ticket cost us a 7 lei per person, which is a good price for what you get. Highly recommend!
  • The botanical garden is one of the most beautiful and quiet places to visit in Bucharest. I believe that there is so much more to do in there, but still it's quite good taken care of. If you want to visit the indoor gardens make sure you get there before noon. Entrance fee is under 10 lei, but it's definitely worth it, especially during the spring time
  • A nice place to spend a quiet afternoon. Full of beautiful flowers and green grass where you can sit down, relax and have a nice picnic. You can also admire small frogs and birds such as ducks swimming in the lake. If you visit the garden remember to take some bread with you so you can enjoy feeding the ducks. In the large greenhouses you can admire beautiful tropical plants in their wet and hot natural habitat. It is a nice place to take photos, let children play and run around in the grass and on the hills simulating mountain terrain.
  • Remains the same quiet, 120% green place, full of different flowers (season specific or all year, like the roses) , bushes, trees from different regions. You can have a pleasure walk and recharge your internal batteries in a green oasis in the middle of a dusty, noisy and dirty city. If you find them open, you should visit also the greenhouses, since there are full of rare plants. They should keep a more clean water in the lake if possible, since the big ornamental fishes were very hard to spot.
