Le Voile de la Mariee, Salazie

#6 of 11 in Things to do in Salazie
Outdoor Activity
At an altitude of 500 m (1,640 ft), Le Voile de la Mariee cascades through a series of cliffs into a lush valley below. Legend states that the falls were formed from the tears of a father who lost his daughter down a deep precipice. Hikers can trek to the bottom of the waterfall where you can get close to the falling water. Be sure to wear appropriate footware (that can get wet) and step carefully, as the rocks near the water can be slippery.
