We went there, normal day. What surprised us was that only one exhibition was opened and the other were closed because “they are not working today”. There was no information about that. The museum... more »
Great museum. Nice polish painting, statues are artistic. Ticket entry. For normal adult it costs 20zł (polish currency). Totally worth it. Monday it closed.
Great museum. Amazing mediaeval art gallery. Very good presentation of Polish painters. Definitely worth visiting. Norman ticket for adults costs 20 zł, audio guide 10 zł. Elevators for disabled people, great gift shop with interesting books both in Polish and English. I guess you need at least 4 full hours to fully check everything. Pros: 1) great visual art from classical styles and periods to postmodern 2) availability, prices, audio guide explanations and exhibition design 3) representation of Polish art Problems: 1) at some levels the floor squeaks too much; 2) general Polish attitude towards strangers; 3) weird map.
