Paris, France to Venice is an approximately 5-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a train. January in Venice sees daily highs of 8°C and lows of 1°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 6th (Fri) to allow time to take a train to Florence.

Considered a cultural, artistic, and architectural jewel of Italy, Florence is the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance.
Popular historic sites such as Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore and Piazza della Signoria are in your itinerary. Take a train from Venice to Florence in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or fly. When traveling from Venice in January, plan for somewhat warmer days in Florence, with highs around 13°C, while nights are about the same with lows around 2°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 9th (Mon) early enough to take a train to Rome.

You can take a train from Florence to Rome in 2 hours. Other options are to drive; or fly. In January, plan for daily highs up to 15°C, and evening lows to 3°C. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 13th (Fri) to allow enough time to travel to Budapest.
