Mazar-E-Quaid, the tomb of the founder of Pakistan, stands nobly in the center of a vast and tranquil landscaped garden. The pure white marble mausoleum to Quaid-e-Azam (Great Leader) Muhammad Ali Jinnah, completed in 1970 by architect Yahya Merchant, also provides the final resting place to Jinnah's sister, Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah (Mother of the Nation) and Pakistan's first prime minister, Liaquat Ali Khan. Check out the museum underneath the tomb to see personal belongings of Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Expect to take your shoes off and do a bit of walking without them. An historic place of Karachi the building itself is state of the art. it is very beautiful and Peaceful and Clean area. Open spaces and green gardens. Need little bit more care about the cleanliness but Poor administration of surrounding the parks. The museum is full of rich history of our great leader May God bless Quaid's soul rest in peace. He is one of the great leaders in the world.
Serene landscape, lush gardens adorned with fountains and a majestic white marble mausoleum. The mausoleum itself is lovely and reasonably well maintained. The grounds are unfortunately littered and whilst the staff try to clean up, a section of visitors don't seem to care. Well worth the visit though and one of the few attractions in Karachi.
