Designed to protect a pristine natural area and educate visitors about biodiversity, Lekki Conservation Centre encompasses 78 hectares (190 acres) and boasts the longest canopy walkway in Africa. Divided into swamp and savannah sections, the area is crossed by a network of well-maintained trails. As you traverse the reserve on foot, look out for monkeys, giant tortoises, squirrels, monitor lizards, crabs, pangolins, and antelopes. Long boardwalks, suspended bridges, and canopy walkways take you across lush marshlands and to various spots ideal for bird-watching--see if you can spot yellow-billed sunbirds, blue-breasted kingfishers, and red-crested turacos hiding in the tree branches. Due to the covid-19 restrictions, you can't walk in anymore. Everyone has to book online (even while waiting at the gate) and wait for confirmation before they let you in. The walks happen in batches.... more »

An amazing place. I enjoyed the canopy walk experience. Lekki conservation centre is a place I have always loved to visit in Nigeria. Its worth it. It was amazing seeing monkeys moving freely. I would recommend lekki conservation centre to anyone who visits Lagos. I was also able to play the tennis and the ludo at the family park. Families and group of people come here for picnics and hangouts. They also have a good lavatory system.

Lekki conservation centre is definitely a good place to visit. If the custodians of this beautiful centre read reviews, I want use this opportunity to inform there's great opportunities to improve on the way the tour carry out their duties. Installation of a zip line as something fun for visitors to do will yield great revenue source. Signs should be put on pathways as the tour guides leave you wandering by yourself most of the time.
