Overnight: There are rooms in a house as well as small cabins/bungalows. We stayed in such bungalows Positive: - made with much love - Mosquito protection provided in the room - good breakfast - very nice people - delicious dinner in Buffett form WLAN available in the main area The bungalows/huts would have to be brought back to life, make something of the impression to be habitual, nevertheless one has to say that the path of ecotourism is followed. I can recommend the accommodation with reservation, but you don't have to be prepared for a luxury, but still great. For the wine tour/tasting: The tour was quite interesting, the subsequent wine tasting with 5 different wines asked the opportunity to test the assortment. For the wine there was a more than sufficient cheese plate, where you could eat enough. Very worth seeing cheetah feeding, and I have to emphasize the great staff.

The winery is beautifully laid out and you can sit outside in a nice way, but the wines did not taste us. We can't say anything about food / accommodation etc. This rating applies exclusively to the wine!
Nicely hidden and quiet resort/lodge. Own grown red wine is excellent (for my taste at least), staff is very friendly and exceptionally helpful (helped me change and fix a run flat tire in the morning! The room we had had two single beds and want prepared as a double bed even though we booked it as such. I don't raise it as a complaint at all because we just used or own hands (that's why we have them) and put them together. But it's that little extra I would 'expect' (as I am used to stay in many different hotels world wide). The food they serve is excellent for the size of the lodge. As I had the pleasure to meet 2 out of three chefs why I know they really love their job!! The service staff is really good and attentive. If you are there, go and book a cheetah feeding - it's a must! It's a big sanctuary and the scientific researcher, Douglas, provides fantastic insights on their habitat, their research, etc. And you find yourself right next to this beautiful and curious (Four food ;)) animals. Nobly a single aggressive behaviour! So no need to be scared at all, you are safe and Douglas has an eye on them as well. Enjoy the proximity to this rare and beautiful creatures. Wee didn't do a wine tasting but what we could see looked very good: 4 different types of wines come together with a cheese platter and you get explanations to each of the wines. Overall, I can really recommend the lodge and even more so what they and several volunteers help to achieve: study, conserve and raise awareness (As well towards the farmers in the surrounding) how precious wildlife, and there carnivores specifically are. Thanks to all for great 3 days And insights you have us into wildlife!
Lovely environment. Impressive concept of a desert vineyard. However it lacks a welcome vital for any host especially if it is in regards to skin colour. One doesn't quite have the feeling of being free and welcome. Not a place I would freely go and stay.
