Cascades, Imouzzer des Ida Outanane

#17 of 19 in Nature in Souss-Massa-Draa Region
Cascades serves as a favorite local getaway near a small Berber town. The river forms two sets of cascades and natural swimming pools. Watch the locals plunging into the pools from the high rocks. Numerous stalls at the base of the cascades sell traditional handicrafts--such as handcrafted chess sets, Berber jewelry, almonds, honey, and the region's most famous product--argan oil. The surrounding area offers numerous hiking opportunities. Note that you will have to climb a lot of stairs to reach the waterfall. You'll find a cafe at the foot of the waterfall. • An open dump, we shortened the visit... All the banks are invaded by the cahutes of merchants, so forget the authenticity... And again, we were in low season, so I dare not imagine in high season! A nightmare surrounded by sublime cliffs. The photos follow...

  • Very good place to take a dip and enjoy the waterfalls. It is essential to eat organic tagine on site. They also sell excellent organic infusions almost free given the price 1euro large pouch
