lies within a rare zone of European rain forest, and preserves forests with glacial lakes, sacred monuments, and trees that reach heights of 40 m (130 ft). Within these dense forests and valleys, you'll see a great deal of wildlife, such as free-roaming deer and wild boars, and some 2,000 species of plants. Numerous nature trails lead to the mountain peaks and lakes, and range in length and complexity from short and basic to 120 km (75 mi) long and demanding. Grab a camera and hike to the wetlands and mountain overlooks, or explore the area and its monuments by boat or off-road vehicle with a guided group. Biogradska Gora is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our world travel planner, Kolasin Municipality Edition.

For € 3,- per person you can drive up to the lake. It’s possible to walk around it, rent bikes, a boat or kayaks. We rented a 2 person Kayak for €5,- /hr which was enough to paddle around the full lake. If you want to camp at the lake you have to pay extra. Beautiful and quiet place to spent a few hours.

You can drive there by paying 3 euros entry fee. There is quite a lot of parking space. We tried to rent bikes but the bikes didn't have any air in the tires. Apparently there was no tool for filling them. We rented a boat 8e/hour, which feels expensive. Lake and nature looks good but as a Finnish person it wasn't anything spectacular. Hiking and biking could be a lot better than our boat-trip!
