Gunung Gading National Park, Lundu

The Gunung Gading National Park is a national park in Kuching Division, Sarawak, Malaysia. The park is located roughly two hours drive from Kuching, and is a popular destination for seeing the Rafflesia flower in bloom. After 10 years as a conservation zone to protect the Rafflesia, the park opened to visitors in 1994.

The park also has a number of jungle trails to waterfalls or to the 965m summit of Gunung Gading.

  • At the headquarter you get a map, which is not really good (the trails are not truthfully drawn) and you don't get too much information from the receptionist. The trails need to be rennovated, a lot.....  more »
  • This is where we found the biggest flower. When you stay in their lodge you have to bring your own food to cook. They provide the kitchen for you to cook the food you bring. It was a great hike in this place. Very quiet and chill.
  • A must if u r in lundu. For transport ask at the bus station so u don't get overcharged
