Mt. Yufu rewards hikers with panoramic views from either of its dual peaks. A stratovolcano, the 1,583.3 m (5,195 ft) mountain has clearly marked trails to each of its peaks, with one rising 1 m (3.2 ft) higher than the other. Both peaks can be conquered in a single trip, but one is a little trickier to tackle, requiring some climbing using the provided chains. Be sure to pack plenty of snacks and water, wear sturdy hiking boots, and check in on the town's information center for a free mountain trail map. Don't forget your camera to capture the views from the summit. Put Mt. Yufu on your schedule, and learn what else deserves a visit by using our Yufu trip maker tool.
