  • Every year, Lake Yamanaka goes out with his bicycle at this time of year. At next year's Olympic Games, it will be a bicycle road race venue, so the road is being improved. In addition, a new lakeside wooden deck was also maintained for pedestrians and cyclists. I'm glad that the cycling road around the lake side will be maintained by next year because it is still only a part of the section, but, well, It will not be possible. With the Olympics, I saw a sign saying that Lake Yamanaka is a sacred place for bicycles, but I hope that not only roads but also related facilities will be maintained, such as Shimanami Kaido in Shikoku and Lake Biwa in Shiga Prefecture.

  • The price was expensive, but it was not !️ even the season, but it was full! You can take a picture of each group before you get on the bus, but if you think this is a service, you can give me a present because I'm paying an insanely high fee that I was charged 1,000 yen? However, it is worth riding because the tour of Lake Yamanaka was fun.

  • Loads of free parking all around this lake, and toilets nearby each of these. The best spot for free parking and a great view of Mt Fuji is on the Nagaike side, stunning to watch the sunset and rise in the morning over the lake. Plenty of temples and shrines nearby, walks and water activities, places to eat and 7 elevens if you need convenience items! Our favourite spot so far :)
  • 山中 lake is only one that I can see an ISOLATED Mount Fuji in my five-lake travel. The scene is very special because there is no other mountain and forest accompanying with the Mount Fuji. However, the shape of the Mount Fuji is not quite smooth from this angle of 山中 lake comparing with the 河口 lake and 本栖 lake. If you want to go to the 箱根, make this spot in your itinerary when drive past it.
