Admire the relationship between manmade designs and nature during a visit to Shiroyone Semmaida, a set of terraced rice fields by the sea. Set on steep slopes, the paddies step down towards the ocean and number over 1,000. Take a stroll though the paddies to catch the contrast between the bright blue of the ocean and the green of the fields from different perspectives. The steep incline of the paddies means you'll find plenty of vantage points from which to admire the finely cultivated land and its untamable backdrop. Put Shiroyone Semmaida at the forefront of your travel plans using our Wajima trip planning tool.
