Tokyo DisneySea, Urayasu

4.3
An original Japanese addition to Tokyo Disneyland, Tokyo DisneySea features nautically themed attractions, rides, and shows inspired by myths of the sea. The park contains seven different areas: Mermaid Lagoon, American Waterfront, Lost River Delta, Port Discovery, Arabian Coast, Mediterranean Harbor, and Mysterious Island. Check out the Venetian gondolas, an underwater world out of the imagination of the science fiction writer Jules Verne, and the S.S. Columbia steamship. Unlike its neighboring Disneyland, this park contains higher quality dining options where guests can order alcoholic beverages. • Loved it. It was very cold as we went in winter. There are a few places indoors but not many. The shows we attended were great. Recommending to get your Fast Pass tickets sorted earlier in the day. The park is beautiful at night and a lot of details really "pop" in the evening. The small details are amazing, too!
  • My host sister and I waited nearly 2 hours for a 2 minute ride (Toy Story). As you can tell, because it is famous attraction, the waiting lines for every ride is extremely long. However, the experience was nice and restaurant we ate at was delicious. Also, our last ride (Journey to the Center of the Earth) was stopped in the middle but we were given a free pass for our next visit. Overall, Disney Sea is a good experience if you're willing to wait more than an hour for rides.
  • “The only one in the world.” This was the best Theme Park I’ve ever visited! The atmosphere, delicious food, parade at the morning and at night, high quality staff, rides, and everything was perfect! The rides were very exciting, there was one that looped and it was amazing! You should visit this amazing place if you haven’t. I went there about 2 times and it was amazing!
  • Only DisneySea in the world! A large park with many rides, attractions, shows and shops. Need a full day to explore the whole park as there are many themes and areas to explore. Luckily we went on a quiet weekday so the queues weren't as bad as we anticipated. Majority of rides were tame and excellent for kids. With a few thrill seeking rides for those seeking adrenalin. Attractions and shows were nice and well managed by staff to ensure walkways remained clear whilst crowds were given a good area to view the show. Food and drinks there were nothing special but also not as over priced as anticipated. The spicy smoked chicken leg was amazing though. In Disneyland tradition, the evenings concluded with a fireworks display which on my visit was nice but not the biggest and musical display I've seen from a Disney park.
  • WARNING - This place sucks. I wasn't paid for this review like I assume everyone else who has reviewed it was. Everything is terrible. Food. Waiting lines (90 minutes plus for anything decent). Rides (after you finally get to them). So disappointed by everything except the aesthetic at this park! Literally cannot understand how this place is so highly rated - mind boggling. Maybe if you have young kids? But then I assume you wouldn't want to spend 1 to 2 hours in a line waiting for a lame ride that's 2 to 3 minutes in duration. And it's not just the rides you have to queue for. We spent over an hour waiting to be seated for food and there were lines winding all over the park for things like hot dogs and popcorn. And the food looked indelible in most instances. How have other reviewers thought it was "delicious"? Have they only eaten frozen food for their entire lifetime?? Ugh. DO NOT VISIT TOKYO DISNEY SEA. No more words.
