  • It is a memories near half a century ago to meet with parents who went to Tokyo at Azumabashi beside Tobu Asakusa Station, to take a ride to Yanagishima garage of Toden, and to the relative's house in Kameido. Sumida gawa at that time was in the midst of the high growth period, and the river began to become dirty gradually unlike the old times, and it was not able to be said that it was beautiful in the compliment. In the decades since then, the beautiful flow and the fireworks of Sumida River have returned. It's a long time since spring.

  • I was able to see it from the capital high, but there were a lot of people who were taking up the place from the morning because it was the day of the fireworks display of Sumidagawa.

  • Sumida river holds firework ceremony in every July. However, I had a bad experience about this ceremony. I had to wait for a long time for the ceremony in the long long queue. I thought there were more than 100,000 people also waiting for the firework. After 2-3 hours, My friend and I were arranged to a group, about 100 people, to cross the Sumida river bridge for seeing the firework. Merely within 5-10 mins, I saw the firework from the bridge and I recorded it in the video. In this short time, the police pulled up a line and pushed me to move on, causing that I could not enjoy this firework ceremony. I think I need to take a seat in the formal place of the firework ceremony rather than see it on the bridge.
  • I'm sure the location is great but the map GPS coordinates are completely wrong!! LOL no where near a river!
