  こちらは徳島市国府町にある人形師（初代天狗屋久吉（略して天狗久）は、明治・大正・昭和と三時代にわたり、阿波人形浄瑠璃に使用する木偶（でこ）を製作した）の資料館です。 レトロな長屋風の建物の引き戸を開けると土間と畳の部屋が広がっています。 右手には天狗屋が作業していた場所あり、頭の特徴などを案内の人が丁寧に説明してくれました。  more »

  This is a museum of puppeteers in Kokufu-cho, Tokushima City (the first Tenguya Hisayoshi (tenguhisa for short) who produced the wood figurines used in Awa doll joruri over the Meiji, Taisho, and Showa eras. When you open the sliding door of a retro long house-style building, you can see the rooms of the earthen floor and tatami mats. On the right hand side, there was a place where Tenguya was working, and the guide explained the characteristics of the head carefully.

  街道から１本南の道沿いにあり、無料駐車場に数台停められます。徳島市の管轄で無料で開放しているので、気軽に立ち寄れます。テレビ放映された初代天狗久のＤＶＤを鑑賞しながら女性の案内の方が詳しく説明してくれたのと、質問にもすぐ答えてくれたので、天狗久や浄瑠璃や関連するいろんな話題について理解が進みました。  more »
