Tokushima Prefectural Museum (徳島県立博物館, Tokushima Kenritsu Hakubutsukan) is a prefectural museum in Tokushima, Japan, dedicated to the nature, archaeology, history, folklore, and art of Tokushima Prefecture. It first opened in 1959 and reopened in new premises in 1990.

  • There is an interesting variety of exhibits about the Awa Odori here with a large kiosk with lots of souvenirs. There is about 5 floors which you can explore.  more »
  • Museum of every history article is obsolete. Curator who is doing research every day. Also conducts various special exhibitions.

  • On Sundays and holidays, can get to the exhibition rooms free of charge. I think better understanding see exhibits along the theme and era, from the videos and books before putting the knowledge and more. At the entrance is a large and powerful and large skeletal model of a dinosaur!
