Awa Odori Hall offers visitors the opportunity to learn about and spectate on an attractive, traditional Japanese Bon dance. Every year during August, the country takes part in its largest dance festival, attracting more than 1.3 million revelers annually, resulting in the culmination of over 400 years of history. Visitors to this museum can absorb the history of the dance and watch vibrant performances all year round. Across the building's five floors, you'll also have the chance to shop for local produce, peruse a specialist library, and even take the ropeway from the fifth floor to the summit of Mt. Bizen. • When I go to Tokushima, I think it's a place to visit. Because there is time of the performance of Awa Odori, it is better to confirm it beforehand. There is also a souvenir shop and a museum, so I think it's a good idea to go before and after the Awa Odori performance. In addition, there is a wax doll in the museum, so it becomes a good memory when you take a photograph together. In the performance of The Awa Odori, they taught me how to dance Awa Odori, and at the end of the performance, we dance together. Some of the dancers who were good at it are commended in front of everyone and receive souvenirs. I think it's a good idea to give up your embarrassment and participate. When The Awa Odori is over, they will also take a commemorative photo. It will be a memorial to have come to Tokushima. There is a coin parking lot around the parking lot, but around noon there were quite a lot of cars, so I wandered around the alley to park. Because the price is also different, it is better to check the location in advance. When you buy an admission ticket, it is a little discount when you show the ion card.

  • Enjoyed and engaged the show so much. Precious culture should be well preserved and shared.
  • 徳島市の阿波踊り Awa Odori festival is not to be missed when visiting Tokushima. If you miss the festival, live performance in Awa Odori hall is the next best thing to witness this beautiful dance.
