  • Kumano Kodo was a generic term for the pilgrimage route leading to Kumano Sanzan ( Kumano Hongu Taisha, Kumano Hayatama Taisha, Kumano Nachi Taisha). So, in addition to the nakabeji that I had as an image, I found that it was a road with a grand length such as Ise Road, Kii-ji, Obe road, and Koji-ji. We only went back and forth between The Prince of China and The Chopstick ori Pass, a small part of Nakabe-ji, and passed through Daimonzaka toward Nachi Taisha, the flow of the Hibiki River near Prince Nearby Russia, the scenery overlooking from the vicinity of The Chopstick stime pass, and the tunnel of the tree in the cedar forest, etc. It was very good to be able to enter this pilgrimage route and feel the atmosphere. I was also surprised to see so many foreigners (Western-Americans) running along Kumano Kodo wearing full-fledged trekking shoes.
