  • Shang Xiang and Manmohan Singh is must have ticket to a family of pandas in GW to Panda 6 since we went (lol), it is seen that Lili's dad was once seen. Around noon's ferocious people went to see the pandas, but had two female pandas, Lili's been working and entering the front gate's spirit of service saw robust (laughs) watching TV, was terrified, so Entered from the Benten-gate. It was sparsely populated. See small animals or reptiles and plenty of hippos were also very pretty and interesting. But especially reptiles is hiding, so where are you find interesting. Shop fewer people is easy. Higashisono becomes a baby polar bear and Gorilla was so popular. Convenient to enjoy half-day 10-fewer people. It is 600 yen for adults and children is free of charge through the ages, from deals. Shan Chan go to those smaller ones out right now, so go and be healed (lol) is opening just as just moving. Comparatively, sleeping during the day, nocturnal Panda's are. Since the ticket, I ate lunch at Cafe seiyoken. Eat inside the garden where there is less.

  • Visit our Sunday 4 / 29. 13:40 was beautiful, beautiful admission ticket, arrived around 9 pm, attendance takes about 30 minutes. On Sunday the weather was good, and crowded with families, where crowds were. Lili is no tickets available, but very crowded. Went to the Panda Hall ticket in time, but takes a little from here too. Viewing total of about 2-3 minutes, maternal and child were sleeping was. Unfortunately.

  • Winning postcards came in the reservation so we went to the Ueno Zoo. In a way went as expected and will be very busy, but conversely about 10 people at 2 minutes 30 seconds each before off 見remashita firm. Cute appearance marked after his mother was said to have slept in the morning, but the running out. It is good.

  • The zoo was disappointing. Many of the animals pace for hours through their little rooms called "domain's." The turkey, clearly distressed, walked the same branch back and forth rarely eating the food. The armadillo was in an even smaller domain. It paced all around back and forth the same pattern and he didn't stop. It was heartbreaking and sad to see so many animals act in such a way. They make it seem that the smaller the animal, the smaller the domain needs to be but that is not necessarily true. The freedom of the animals are important. I sympathize the mirror cats as I watch their paws scrape the glass as an attempt to escape. I don't think coming to see the animals look so miserable made this trip very fun, but every so often there were animals who enjoyed their time here as you could tell the gorilla was being a show off. But when I see the sadness in them, I feel traumatized at the end of the day.
  • If you want to see the giant and baby panda you must obtain an additional ticket besides the entrance ticket. You must arrive early to ensure you get a ticket. We got into the zoo and hour after it had opened and were told no more tickets were available for the day. They do have a panda everyone can see without needing an additional ticket. Other than the panda, not much difference from any other zoo. Animals walking around or sleeping in their enclosures.
  • Amazing place with the rarest species of animals. Panda, polar bear, penguins are a few to name. The property is maintained extremely well. Neat and tidy with clear instruction, so even thou your not a Japanese you will never be lost. Personally i loved the 2 pandas there. It was the first time i gotta see them and it was so adorable and unforgettable!! If u visit Japan Disney world and Ueno Zoo is a must!
  • Had some time to kill before our flight so thought we'd check this place out. I highly recommend not coming here with luggage as we had a pretty hard time competing with the dense crowds and countless prams. The animals are quite varied, I enjoyed the monkeys and birds of prey. It's an okay zoo, I felt sorry for some of the animals that were confined to small enclosures, I guess you have to ask yourself how ethical the concept of a zoo is at the end of day... Beyond moral conflicts, like most attractions in Japan, it was super packed and with the extra bags and heat it wasn't ideal.
  • Great value zoo. Only 600 yen for adults and 200 yen for students. A wide range of animals and plenty of viewing areas. We particularly loved the polar bears because they were very active and could be viewed from above and below easily. A great variety of birds too.
