Huis Ten Bosch Reviews
The park has a Dutch theme, with windmills and tulip flower beds. However, when you go inside you will very soon forget about this because of the variety of attractions, like vr games, small roller co... more »
プロジェクションマッピングなどのショーは、時間が決まっ... more »I could only stay for half a day, but as soon as I entered, the tulip fields continued, so I took pictures. Around the palace at the back of the facility, the cherry blossoms were in full bloom and we could enjoy cherry blossoms and tulips at the same time. The attractions aren't that exciting, but the flowers and illumination are amazing. Also, it was not crowded, so we didn't have to line up and we were able to go around well for half a day. For shows such as projection mapping, the time is fixed, so it's better to plan to go around efficiently in advance.
A very pretty recreation of a Dutch town. A pity that most attractions had add-on pricing. 4,500 yen entrance fee for park entry. 7,000 yen for being able to use the attractions. Felt a bit pricey. Nevertheless, had a good time taking pictures. Theme park was very well kept. Having visited Amsterdam, the canal house architecture and canals are legit.
You need to spend an entire day in this park in order to make your money worth. Definitely one of the weirder theme parks I’ve been to, but its great for family fun and the park is really gigantic. It is probably a good idea to stay at the hotels in the park if you have kids and want to spend more time in there. It is quite a walk from the JR Station (and the pathway is very luggage-wheel-unfriendly), and the bus station is right outside the entrance. Do remember to book a ticket when leaving though.
