  • Absolutely stunning place! Ancient folk houses are gorgeous, beautiful beaches and lagoons, breathtaking landscapes, super friendly locals. Ojika was a highlight of our trip.
  • This island is from the Paleolithic era and at random sites throughout each era, is the feeling that almost covered with ruins. From archeology, the beginning of the GoTo Islands are believed from this island. In fact not Ojika island is never big in the GoTo Islands, was originally two East-West Island. In the middle of the island's current narrow Strait North to South, and then ditches it in 0/1334 and once to seize power after Emperor Go-Daigo the Kamakura shogunate soldiers (1334), now in its present form.
