  • The place of Puchachin is here. This is the end of the Puchachin Road parade at the Port festival. Then there is the Buddha thing and there is the sideshow. Spring is famous for its stunning weeping cherry blossoms. There is also the tomb of the Russian people who died and were unable to return to their homeland.

  • The ship "Diana" when he came to Japan was damaged by the tsunami of the resting large earthquake that occurred during Shimoda stop, in search of the Russia Pcharentin to conclude the agreement between the Japanese and Russo. It was towed to Toda on the Nishiizu side in order to repair, but I met the storm and sank. For those who lost the ship, the shogunate was the first to build a Western-style sailing ship under the direction of the people who Russia gathered the shipbuilders, the Japan Toda. The name of the ship was named "Heda". Here "Takarizudera" was the lodgings of Puchachin in the construction of the ship. Unfortunately, there is a cemetery of Russia who died in the Japan in this precinct.
