  • I came to Nikko Yumoto Onsen. The temple here has a hot spring bath where even foreigners can take a bath. This is a great place to visit Nikko Yamaringo-ji Temple, a world heritage site. The hot spring temple was previously built at the top of Mt. Taketake in Urayama, but it collapsed by a typhoon in 1966, was rebuilt to a local point, and the hot spring springing from the neighboring land was drawn in, and only three temples put hot water in Noboribetsu and Beppu in the whole country (Shinkatsuji temple in Fukuyama and closed) It was guided to the bathroom without waiting by saying that two guests were ahead. The first bath in this hot water was on July 23, 2017. The cloudy hot water of the sulfur spring is wonderful. I wrote a long time ago, when I stayed here on a school trip to elementary school, the hot water smelled very intense, but i wonder if it was my original heart at that time. But I want to bathe in that intense sulfur spring again. Take a bath with tea and sweets after the hot water. I was able to have a conversation with the priest here. As I originally wrote, the earthquake of magnitude 5 occurred in the evening of 2013.2.25 while i heard the story of the reconstruction of this place, and this place was the epicenter. At that time, it is said that a rare thing happened that the hot spring spouted suddenly from the road in a small Yumoto hot spring town. In addition, the mesobuchi hot spring was closed due to a large damage to the building and the hot spring facilities by this earthquake.

  • Very beautiful temple, daylight this kind of old temple a lot, very well for everyone to walk around to see, let go of the mood. A lot of people in this temple look, not to see.

  • It's a wonderful hot spring! At 71°c, it's the hottest i've ever been into. Put some cold water to get in, then enjoy!
  • You can bathe in a temple with a source. It is closed in winter. Nice hot water. It is an old building, but it is a elegance of Japan. You want to meet a deer? You want to meet a bear? That's luck.
