  • Stunning design from the outside and when walk into the inner walk, you will see a beautiful traditional Okinawa house before entering the building. This is my favorite design cue of the museum. The history part of the museum is very well presented and quite enjoyable to walk. However, the art part of the museum is although interesting but doesn't feel particularly special. The 'Planned Exhibitions' changes for time to time, so it's hard to review but I'm sure they gotta be something special. The public park behind the museum (Shintoshin park) is also very nice and filled with lots of lively activities, especially in the weekend.
  • Interesting museum about Okinawa history and culture. It's a must visit if you want to understand more about Okinawa's past and the people living there. All exhibits are in English. Good to spend a few hours. They also have special art exhibitions that rotate continuously.
