  • It might be a scenery like Nagasaki called the Statue of The Virgin on the cape. If it wasn't in the area of Nagasaki, a Buddha statue might have been built on the cape. By the way, in commemoration of the 400th anniversary of St. Francis Xavier's visit to Japan, known as the person who brought Christianity to Japan, it was built with the intention of watching the safety of the voyage at the entrance of Nagasaki Port.

  • We visited the warship island cruise ship from the offing. It is located near the sea with the Church of God. You can see more sightseeing at your feet. It seems to be able to go from the land to the vicinity.

  • I felt a friendly and dignified appearance that protected the port of Nagasaki. The surrounding area is called "Island of God" and there are many anglers. The sea is very clear and beautiful. The sea views are also excellent and are a hidden spot in the local area. There is also a famous Christian building. There is a dog of Mitsubishi far ahead, and you can see the appearance that the shipbuilding is active. There is also a beautiful bridge called Goddess Ohashi. There is actually a small stone statue of God next to the statue of Maria, and I think it is a very Japanese scene.

  • When you sail from Nagasaki Port and pass through the goddess Bridge, which boasts the highest height in Japan, you will see Takabokojima on your right. The Statue of Mary on the Cape was seen before Takatsuki Island. The statue was built at 1.7m in 1958, and it was rebuilt in 1959 and has a height of 4.7 m. It is said that hidden Christians worshiped Jesus quietly in The Old Island, where there is a statue of our Virgin. When you look at the statue of Maria on the cape, it seems to be mourning the hidden Christians of the distant past while watching the safety of navigation.
