  • A bust in the back of the left hand side on the way to the building entering the entrance of Oura Cathedral. It was built in 1981 to commemorate the visit to Oura Cathedral. On the pedestal is engraved with the words "This is the origin of the faith, martyrdom, and mission of the new church in Japan."

  •  From Glover Street to Oura Cathedral, climb the stone steps. On the left, on the left hand side was a monument commemorating the discovery of the believers, and several statues were on the left. One of them was the statue of Pope John Paul II.  John Paul II came to Nagasaki in 1981. It was a bust built to commemorate it.
