  • The Walker House was built in the late 19th century and was purchased by Walker in 1915. Walker had taken over the Shipping Business established by his father and uncle. Walker lived from 1882-1958...  more »
  •  This walker house was built in the middle of a large glover garden. It is a Western-style building that was built right next to The Great Hall of The Great Hall in the Meiji era. The whole impression is certainly western-style architecture, but the roof was tiled and the Japanese-Western architecture was an eclectic building with japanese design.
