  • It is a 3-minute walk from the Sofukuji tram stop. It is adjacent to Yasaka Shrine, allowing you to go back and forth. This temple was founded in 1623 and is a temple of the Shingon sect Reiunji sect. The main image is the Statue of Sente Kannon. Built in 1668, the main hall is designated as an important cultural property of the country. The stone arched inside gate is like Nagasaki. The stone stage, which mimics Kyoto Kiyomizu-dera Temple, overlooks the scenery of the town.

  • The older the shrine, the more valuable it seems to be and the more wonderful it is. It was very nice to see the shrine in a beautiful atmosphere.
