Togakushi Shrine Chusha Reviews
more »There seems to be not much parking. I think that it is better to park in an empty parking lot like there is a patrol bus and to pay a bus. Togakushi soba was famous, and the shop in the vicinity was crowded everywhere. In the shop away, i just waited a little bit and put it in.
more »The parking lot in front of the torii is charged, but the back is free and the number of capas is enough. Moreover, there is no need to climb the stairs when visiting Nakasha because there is a free parking lot on the hill. I visited here next to Okusha Kukuryusha. After filling out the soba shop's weeding list, I visited The Treasure Light Company and The Fire Nomikosha below. It is a beautiful miya. It seems that it is likely to be able to come here even if there is no time.
We went there on Sept 8th on a one-day trip from Tokyo - Nagano - Togakushi and then back to Nagano. Although it was a rainy day and we were there only for 5 hours, the trip was totally worth it. The nature in the zone is astonishing and the shrines amazing. We went by a short and nice walk through the woods from the lower shrine to the middle one. There we ate in a restaurant nearby the typical soba noodles (not my favorite food). Afterwards we took the bus to the upper shrine, actually to a spot 20-30 min walking from the shrine, but the path was so beautiful that it was the best part of the visit. If only we had more time we could have seen more things in the area where there are a lot to do and visit. Next time!
Nice surreal feeling especially with the snow falling down.
