Akame Shijuhachi Waterfall, Nabari

#1 of 14 in Things to do in Nabari
Hike through an unspoiled forest environment at Akame Shijuhachi Waterfall, a series of falls that cascade down this Nabari River tributary, while your trail traces its course for about 4.2 km (2.6 mi). The surrounding area was selected as one of the 100 best forests in the country, and walking here you'll find a quiet, peaceful place. The soothing sounds of the falls, some of which reach up to 30 m (98 ft) in height, accompanying your every step. You can manage a round trip within three or four hours, but consider an early start as the dense wood hinders natural light somewhat. Take some water and a snack on your hike, and bring your camera to catch images of the natural site. • There is a bus from Akame Station to the back quite a bit. They pay an entrance fee of 500 yen You can see other salamander found here at the Japanese Salamander Center first. From there you can go to Sente Falls with a few heels, but from there it's tough. It is understood that the road is made along the river so as to crawl around the river hem and the boulder, and it is considerably maintained, and the entrance fee is necessary. It went to the last minute while thinking about useless after it was uneasy when the earthquake came, and it walked to the kaochikei this time by the climbing mountain shoes. I think that it is surely crowded with autumn leaves in the summer and autumn, but please take care beforehand for the bus from Kaochikei to Nabari by four hours with proper equipment.

  • The Akame Valley in Nahari City, Mie Prefecture, is a hiking trail with many waterfalls and is called Akame 48 Falls. You can enjoy a variety of waterfalls, large and small, by walking along the promenade. There is an up-and-down about four kilometers in length, but there is no problem especially if it is a person who can walk normally because it is well maintained. I visited Golden Week, where the fresh green is beautiful, but because there are a lot of maples, the autumn leaves season seems to be able to see a more beautiful scenery.
