Little ones will delight in Yokohama Anpanman Children's Museum, dedicated to the popular Japanese TV cartoon and children's book, "Anpanman." The museum offers kids a chance to immerse themselves in the world of Anpanman, while providing a fun and safe atmosphere. The initial entrance fee covers a live stage performance, diorama display, play space, and access to the shopping area. Take photos with favorite characters, and stop in the gift stores filled with colorful Anpanman products. Take a break at the themed cafe with a strawberry cream-filled cookie and a red bean cafe latte. Yokohama Anpanman Children's Museum Reviews
This new Anpanman theme park is a must go for the kids (below 6 years old) even if they don't know who is Anpanman or can't speak Japanese. The shows are very entertaining which you can guess what... more »
Was fascinated by the idea of a museum dedicated to a popular animation show in Japan. However this is not a museum but can only be described as a soft play area for 1-5year olds. It does not contain.... more »
This is a great place to take your children for a fun time at a museum. They have several interactive play areas, a stage for live performances, a ball play area, and a large ball play area. The staff are super friendly to the children and actually play with the children while cleaning up the confetti from the live performance. They have a large food court with many options. If you want to dine in the sit down restaurant, you should put your name on the list as soon as you arrive, as the wait is quite long. There is a bakery where the employees that are decorating the baked goods are behind glass and they interact with the children that show interest in what is being done. The baked goods are great and very tasty. I would definitely recommend going here if you have young children.
2.5 year old loved it. Spent 2 hours running around. Entrance fee a bit high but you get a fun show, meet the characters & lots of staff keeping the place clean & tidy. We've nicknamed it pre-school Disney as it reminds us of Disney a lot. Nice variety of prices in the gift shop so the kids got a cheap little something to take home with them which really made their day extra special. 4/5 stars as it would have been nice to have been able to take the stroller in with us rather than having to park it up outside & more activities would be nice but overall it was great fun & we would recommend it to others.
