Tokyo DisneySea, Maihama

4.3
An original Japanese addition to Tokyo Disneyland, Tokyo DisneySea features nautically themed attractions, rides, and shows inspired by myths of the sea. The park contains seven different areas: Mermaid Lagoon, American Waterfront, Lost River Delta, Port Discovery, Arabian Coast, Mediterranean Harbor, and Mysterious Island. Check out the Venetian gondolas, an underwater world out of the imagination of the science fiction writer Jules Verne, and the S.S. Columbia steamship. Unlike its neighboring Disneyland, this park contains higher quality dining options where guests can order alcoholic beverages. Put Tokyo DisneySea into our Urayasu trip builder tool and find out what's close by, where to stay, and where to head next.

  • I used to visit every week with my passport, but when I took my 0-year-old child for the first time after giving birth, I was able to enjoy it from a different perspective. The baby center sells almost everything you need to take care of milk, diapers, and butt wipes, so you can rest assured. However, because the baby center is not in the back side of the park, it is a little inconvenient because it comes back to the baby center near the entrance of the garden every few hours. It would be helpful if there was a baby center in Mermaid Lagoon. There are five ★ because you can enjoy the best entertainment with your baby even if you put the inconvenience aside.

  • Loved it! Walking through it was almost better than the rides! The attention to detail is exceptional, it's like it's own little world! Highly recommend getting a fast pass as soon as you arrive and using the website to track attraction waiting times. You will need at least 1 whole day to experience it. The best Disney I've been to so far (Don't miss the Fantasia show, it's phenomenal!)
  • One of the best theme park in the world. There are plenty of attraction to visit. You can spend all day here. Toilet is clean, staff performance is great. They can communicate in English. The night show also worth the wait. Recommend for all tourists who visit Tokyo. The only problem is long queue for almost everything from food stalls to attractions. You should come here on weekdays or buy express pass ticket to ensure you can play all rides.
