  • This fairy cave is in the Imperial Palace of Kyoto, of all the royal Family parks that need to be expected in Kyoto, the most convenient transportation, the subway can be easily reached, but also to go up to a fast 15 minutes, want to see must first, or the name of the report is also OK, but may not have a seat, and so on. It is not too difficult to make a proposal or to make an appointment first. When you arrive, be aware that the entrance is in the direction of the north, because the imperial is very big, it is necessary to around a lot of wrong ways, report to the process and other palace, with the protection and the number of the code, the foreign people do not have to worry about the language, there is a free multi-language guidance, free lending, and then wait in the lounge, this time can go to the toilet or buy soil. , and then you can follow the tour, and you'll be on this beautiful garden in Kyoto. The biggest light in this garden, I think it's not over that Rocky beach, with the old pine and the small lake, that landscape is simple, can not help but admire is worthy of the royal family, sure enough to enjoy, so there are elegance, the courtyard also has a lot of wild animals, a machine full of, beauty does not win, every point to look at the sign on the number of the guide, You can have Chinese to understand the purpose of this, although only a small time of the guide, but feel the time quickly passed. The whole body says it's a very well-deserved garden, and at present, for free, such as the Laurel Palace has to be collected for 1000 days, it will not be compared to this fairy Cave Imperial College or convent from the palace, it is proposed to take advantage of the opportunity to come to Kyoto quickly, compared to the sea of Kyoto scenery like Kiyomizu temple and King's temple, this kind of study, Because there are no other visitors, but more relaxed and pleasant to enjoy the scene.

  • This building was burned almost makes a guided tour of the gardens. It was reminiscent of early December, I visited a beautiful Japanese Maple is most 11-end time and surely beautiful and scenic. Instead of running into the crowd if commercially even booking the group non-visitors is not, so you can enjoy the fall foliage. It was a wonderful garden.

  • Huge, nice, quiet and relaxing place. It's not overcrowded but you need a reservation and a guide to get in. However, the surrounding park is also very large, nice and quiet and you can visit it at any time without need to worry about the entrance.
  • Probably the best Japanese garden I've seen. There are only FREE, limited guided tours (3 per day, about 35 persons) that you need to book in advance on the internet or next to the entrance during the morning. The tour is in Japanese, but audio guides are offered in several languages for free upon arrival. You must follow the indicated route with the guide, but unlike other Japanese gardens in Kyoto you have plenty of space and time to enjoy the views and take your pictures. The buildings around are not that impressive, but they have some interesting story behind. A totally recommended visit while in Kyoto. Personal tip: Be at the entrance about 11 to get reserve your ticket (bring your passport!), book for the 2 or 3 PM slot and go to the Nijo castle while you wait.
