  • The temple is open to the public only in the early summer when special occasion and sweet tea blooms. The treasures are exhibited in accordance with the bishamonten of the crystal discovered from the womb, centering on the image of the important cultural properties of the established Sumito. Because the staff explains in the inside, it was understood well including the history of Kenninji which hits the nest, and the great. If you are lucky, there is a priest who often appears on TV, and you can listen to the sermon including history. This is really fun, deep, and a succession of things to be startled instinctively! I was really impressed.

  • It is a good example to show that the technique of Japan sculpture is no inferior to the West in the ability of realism. There is a reality which seems to be talked about moving at any moment. The Bishamonten statue of the womb Buddha is also splendid. It is natural because it is a womb Buddha, but it is even smaller than it is imagined from the photograph. The tea room which goes in and out of the height is also changed, and it is a head temple with a lot of attractions.

  • We went to visit in May, 2017. I took a leisurely look at the "Honeydew Garden", a dry landscape garden planted with sweet tea. The Red seal was the only place to write. In February 2019, we took a tour of the winter trip in Kyoto. At this time, the photograph of the garden was prohibited. I received the red Seal of the bishamonten on display. There were also a few other types of redred markings.
