Ishibe Alley, Kyoto

4.3
Step back to early 20th-century Japan at Ishibe Alley, a historic cobblestone street that has maintained a traditional atmosphere from the Taisho period (1912-1926). Original wooden houses line the street, where many operate as teahouses, restaurants, and salons. As you walk you can hear the muffled interaction of people through the shoji screens. Due to its old-fashioned aesthetic, it has become a popular destination for filming in movies. At night, numerous lanterns elegantly illuminate the street. Hotels operate in the area for people who wish to stay longer. • Stay beautiful TSUKIMI HOTEL is in the immediate vicinity. Check-in after hanging out. Shooting in the alley House so refrain from. Take a stroll along the Stone Wall Street through it I went out shooting on the road. The KYOTO is sight increases the tension.

  • Kiyomizu-dera-Shimizu 2-year ban, and three DERA-!. of road-from up to 8 Hanshin's walks.. of trail off a little while. More Kyoto feel more stone paths, conservation area, while Chan and people live and shop. And does not impair the landscape ideas. This is a really nice place.
