  • Ikebaba is part of the Japanese tradition, just like tea ceremony and landscape gardens. My recommendation is also to be dealt with once, even if only theoretically. If you want to deal more intensively with Ikebana, you are very well catered for at the Ikenobo School in the house. Those who take the time to visit the entire building of the Ikenobo School will notice the importance of Ikebana (not only in Japan).

  • Visited the touch part of the culture of Kyoto in "flower". [Museum of ikebana: photography is prohibited in the exhibit so not featured in the photo is the historical materials about ikebana vases, was designated "Tachibana", entrance from left or right "Tachibana-byobu (Kano harunobu brush", such as Recommended for visits to Japan culture and "arrangement" had interest because you can not touch in a general Museum exhibits to touch. Still here to visit before reservation requires Tanabata Festival of pond-Bou national flower exhibition (11 / 9-12: ikenobo) of reservation required, viewing is possible during the period. And the Museum entrance including Temple, Bell Tower, ikenobo building, WEST18 1: 100 model and Edo-0/1713 (1713) is Temple in the Meiji era cruise (replication) and photo exhibits, became hexagonal appearance description With mentioned are interesting (see attached photo). On the ground floor left bird (1; sirokincaciou) is recommended because you can appreciate over time if you can afford the watch the match also.

  • Not the most popular place in Kyoto, but there were quite a few transcripts and old drawings. Not very easy to find but the security guards were very friendly and opened the museum for us.
  • Student time Study "pool Flow" flower arrangement, today finally can come to the pilgrimage (ecstatic). Usually there are no visitors, the building security let me enjoy the free visit.
