  • This shrine is came after search in Kyoto and press pray for you. So pray, white stone walls like someone else is writing. Works great! With came up to the net, so I went looking for the map of Kyoto not, really is in this residential area? And anxiously walked, and surprisingly easy to found. Come pray without yourself in the quiet morning, who's no. Satisfied, imprisoned, amulet of the back edge of the small post to ask for donation or prayer and prayed. Not meet the priest who is whether early and wishes come true! Should rim do not return in this! At least it seems like location.

  • ** Introduction : According to the hiostorical record of the shrine, it was during Heian Period ( 850 ) when the wife of 55th Emperor Buntoku visited the great deity of Kasuga Shrine to give a safe birth to Emperor Seiwa. The area of Ichiidani Valley in Kadono-gun was the very place where the deity was enshrined. It is believed that a river used to flow through a forest of Kunugi Oaks of the valley of Ichiidani back then. Its name of Nanano stands of " Seven Forests " originated from the seven forests once existed around Mt. Funaoka. Therefore this shrine became a sacred spot where deities of those seven forests are enshrined. The place has a strong connection to Kamo shrine. ( Trans-word+ : TGM Kyoto Guide )
