  • This isn't a necessary visit unless you are a history enthusiast interested in sengoku-era figures and Oda Nobunaga. It is a small temple with a memorial shrine to Nobunaga and a small on-site museum....  more »
  • Entrance is a little obvious, and buried in the building is the Temple in the big front gate is kawaramachi Sanjo-stop bus small gate close. I went from the back gate of the photo.   • It is one of the temple (or what’s left of it) which change the direction of Japan and well known history attached for one of the big timer Nobunaga Shogun. There is small museum for Nobunaga, which you may visit. There are 3 narrow entrance and one large one.... it’s really easy to miss it depending on where you are walking from.
  • A place of historical importance, but rather difficult to find the entrance. It wasn't until after closing time, and after circling the area twice, that we found the entrance to the temple.
