  • I went to the time when there were not so many flowers except moss in the end of April. First of all, I was able to buy a set of eizan electric railway one-day pass and the admission ticket of this place at Demachiyanagi Station without lining up. To get there from Ninose Station, you should always have a map that you can get when you buy a ticket. It's not far from the station to Hakuryuen, but you can't tell if you don't have a map. We visited before noon, but the guests were a pair of other of us. When I went in and greeted the person who was taking care of the garden, I was able to explain this garden on the spot. After listening to that, I went around the garden and found out how well nature and human beings coexist. I got the impression that humans processed it so that they could be close to nature. I was able to enjoy a quiet time in a very quiet and calm atmosphere. If I could, I wish I could have tea somewhere in Toya, where there are four designs in the park, rather than just across the road.

  • I happened to know on the day, and went to Demachiyanagi Station in Nogood Moto. It takes about 10 minutes on foot from the small Ninose Station. This quaint garden is carefully maintained. To be able to enjoy it slowly, there are toya and rims everywhere, and it feels like you can see the scenery moving from the outside. This time, it was the season of cherry blossoms at the beginning of bloom, so I wanted to visit the scenery of a different season again. I don't recommend going too much, but if you have enough time, before you go to your ship. Before you go from Demachiyanagi, don't forget to look to the right side of Ninose and enjoy the view from the car window.

  • This is a private property belongs to the founder of Aono.co. Behind this property is a mountain called Mt. Anyoji as well as Mt. Azalea. The mountain was regarded as a sacred ground to enshrine the spirit of a white snake and an old man with white hair representing imortality. Ever since the property was inherited Mr. Aono dedicated himself to develop this ground into its current state after learning about the history of this sacred ground. The place also enshrines the deity called Hachidai Ryuo ( Eight Dragon Kings ). Hakuryu-en writes as 白 = white 龍 = dragon 園 = garden. During spring and autumn this garden space is open to public exclusively to the ones who reserve the tickets in advance. The tickets are available at Demachi Yanagi Station where you can take Eizan Line. It is highly recommended that you get the tickets which includes 1-day pass for Eizan Line for 2,000 yen. The regular entrance fee to the garden is 1,600 yen. The entrance is limited to 100 people a day on first come first served basis. Hakuryuen is located in the south-east of Ninose Station.
  • Worth all the planning and waiting. It's sooo beautiful
