  • Iwaki Sulugate is a sluice gate for dividing the Kushiro River and the Shin-Koji River that flowed from upstream. Is. Now all the current flows are diverted to the Shin-Koji River, and although they do not serve as floodgates, there are still two floodgates, both old and new. In particular, the old sluice gate is located right next to the Kushiro River. The side of the sluice gate is small and you can see the southern end of Kushiro Marsh from just over 10 meters above. The grassland of Yoshi which seems to be going on forever is a scenery away from Japan.

  • Iwaki Sulugate is located on the edge of Kushiro Marsh, which is about 10km inland from Kushiro City. It is a floodgate for dividing the water of the Kushiro River that flows through the wetlands into the Kushiro River and the Shin-Koji River, but now it flows all to the Shin-Koji River. There are the old flood gates and the New Sluice Gate, but the Kushiro Marsh seen from the bank of the old sluice gate is a superb view. Yoshihara has been going on for a long time, and it is a scenery that Japan has become!
