  • About a 15-minute walk south of Kitami Station, Meishizuin is a temple of the Tendai sect where wooden Yakushi Nyorai sitting statues have been selected as designated cultural properties of Zhejiang City (guide board in front of the gate). Because it is adjacent to Iwato Hachiman Shrine, it is located in a calm atmosphere. There was only one plum tree in the orderly precincts.

  • This temple is about a 15-minute walk from Sabae Station on the Odakyu Line or Kitami Station. It was built in the late Muromachi period, and makes you feel the history. There is also a babbling of the Iwato River nearby.
