  • I visited ryukyu world heritage tour. From the reception to the main gate, you will be sent by cart. The mechanism which comes back while seeing from there. Here you can see the difference between the stone works in the ryukyu castle. It is interesting, but I thought that it was good to see slowly after it had finished construction. There's a fee here.

  • The ruins were breathtaking. So much history and information in one place. The view of Okinawa from atop is priceless as you get a panoramic view of it all. The hidden underground well is a true find!...  more »

  • My wife and I loved it here. We got a lot of great photos throughout the ruins. Free parking (but limited) and only a few hundred yen for admission price. Well worth it if you like walking through history.
  • A beautifully preserved castle with many nooks and crannies to explore. We had fun climbing the stone steps and walls. The view from the top of the Pacific ocean is stunning. A worthwhile detour.
