  The area is lovely with great views and lots to see - few western people however and good English information is rare. Having your own car is a great advantage. Everything is singposted very well and....  more »

  霧島山系の山。隣の新燃岳から1キロしか離れてない。その新燃岳が噴火活動をしている為、入山禁止。

  美しい新燃岳と違い地味な火口。 高千穂峰が絶景、静かな草原の山。 真冬だから一面の茶色で残念。 木道が延々と続く。
