  • Do you know the "Reikoji temple"? It is a temple of Hinhasune in Nanasato Beach which faces Sagami Bay located in southwest of Kamakura. The nearest station is a 8-minute walk from Nanrigahama station on the Enoshima Electric Railway. In front of the gate, there is a stone pillar carved with the Lotus Sutra of the Nanunmyogi Law, and the signboard of the gate is carved with the mountain of Ryuzan. In 1271, when it was attacked by a great drought, Hojo Tokishu of the regency ordered a rain prayer to the tolerability of the Gokurakuji temple, but it did not fall, and there is a legend that Tanabe of the pond started raining when Nichiren started chanting Lotus Sutra. There are also monuments in the Yukuai Bridge, including the approach of Reikoji Temple. There was a statue of Nichiren Daisho people in the precincts. The main hall was a quiet temple with a solemn atmosphere.
