  • This wonderful temple belongs to the Rinzai Sect Enkakuji School, the 4th largest of Kamakura Goyama in the Kita-Kamakura area. The mountain is called The Golden Treasure Mountain. It was founded in 1281 in 1281 in 1281 to commemorate the bodhisattva of Hojo Munemasa, the third son of the 5th imperial authority of the Kamakura Shogunate and Tosson Hojo. Parking is free for temples in Kamakura. It is good to go to the temple of charge of Jochi-ji temple immediately from the parking lot, but i went after seeing first because one of kamakura Toui in front is wonderful. It was like a fountain with clear water. Right behind is the general gate of Jochi-ji Temple, where the amount of "treasure is near", and there is a reception center ahead. In the past, i came here after half past 16 and didn't let me in. There is a bell tower gate which is a gate of the second floor immediately from the reception. Mr. Tang...

  • Some years ago, the season of autumn leaves was beautiful, but the season of hydrangea was also deep green, and in the rainy season sky, i could hear the sound of fresh rice and progress uguis, and kita Kamakura was still healed.

  • Nice to visit in autumn.
  • Not super impressive, but very agreable temple. A lot of stone, from the entrance with a traditional bridge, that you can't cross, and old stairs. The place has a fee, and also a quite big cemetery at the back, even if most of it is not accessible and this sentence is certainly questionable on the semantic side. You can see some old wooden statues in all their natural patina, awe and humility. Don't forget the lonely kannon at the back of the main building. There are also several super old trees well worth a moment of admiration and a hug. Inside a cave at the back, you can rub the belly of Hotei, one of the 7 Japanese gods of fortune. This one has a surprisingly asymmetrical happy face.
