  • At this time of year, hydrangea is beautiful, and i can hear the cry of the singing, and it calms down. In autumn, hagi flowers bloom beautifully, so it seems to be called Hagiji. This historic temple was rebuilt by Tokugawa Ieyasu at the request of The Great Amai Monk, which was burned down in 1538 and became a disenjuator in the Edo period. The visit fee is 100 yen. I want to revisit it in the fall.

  • The place where Hojo Ichimon died is a trace of Tokatsuji temple a little further away from this temple, but there was a manual in front of the gate that Mr. Ashikaga was erected by the life of Emperor Godaigo. It's a little bit further from Wakamiya Boulevard, but it's also interesting to explore the ruin of the Kamakura Shogunate, including Tokatsuji Temple.

  • One of the last great zen mysticism temples in Japan! A must see. When you visit here, keep a mind of prayer. Ring the large temple gong on the way up to the main hall before you enter, and bow. After entering, turn right and you should see a resident monk in a booth. Purchase some prayer sticks, incense, and maybe even a candle. Ask the monk to guide you as to how to pray. Some monks do speak English. I love this prayer temple - a very consecrated place.
  • Temple build to appease the souls of the Hojo clan. The family's mark is a triforce, the one later used in Zelda video games. Quite nice place, very well maintained. You can't take pictures inside the main building, but you can enter it. Some old and respect-inspiring Buddha statues are kept there. Overall a very quiet and zen feeling. On the right side of the bui8, don't miss the small altar where you can pour water on stones and enjoy the sound of the flow created.
